Hi all, hope you are enjoying the summer break. Just a couple of reminders of things to have sorted before we return in the autumn:

1. Have you read the whole of The Sign of the Four and annotated it?  Click the GCSE playlist tab to go to an audio version of the book. You can also access Mrs Whitehill’s looms if you look on this main page.

2. Have you read and annotated all 15 poems in the anthology?  If not, again head over to the blog main page where you can access the links for 10 looms for 10 of the poems. MR Bruff on you tube has all 15 too. 

3. Have you been reading some non-fiction this holiday? Maybe things on the Olympics? Maybe reviews of films of games? Maybe blogs on your favourite social media influencer?  Aim for 10-15 mins every couple of days.

4. Have you started to follow us on Instagram atenglishlc?  Lots of great things gets shared on here to get you thinking and support you in your studies.
